Mark Gollinger

Mark is a retired Senior Chief with 23 years of worldwide construction experience in the United States Navy Seabees. He managed construction projects, programs, and personnel while directly supporting disaster recovery, humanitarian assistance, and combat operations around the world. He retired from the Navy in August 2007 and worked in the private sector as a Project Superintendent and as the Operations & Logistics Chief, both as a consultant and employee for The Peak from 2008 – 2014. He left for a position with the Montana Department Labor where he helped Veterans find meaningful employment as a Disabled Veterans Outreach Program Specialist. He then left DOL to take a position as the first State Liaison for Montana’s newest State Veterans Home in Butte. He returned to the Peak in June of 2021.

After retirement he returned to his hometown of Butte America where he actively follows Veteran’s issues and is involved with all the local Veteran organizations. He serves as a member of the 15-90 Search and Rescue team and is a life member of the VFW, DAV, and Marine Corps League. He is also a longtime member of the American Legion and Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America. Mark is on the board of directors for the Friends of Butte Veteran Treatment Court non-profit and helps organize events for the Butte chapter of XSports4Vets. Mark spends his free time hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting as well as riding his motorcycles and RZR. He occasionally gets to escape to Hawaii or Costa Rica for his new surfing obsession.
