Technical Rope Skills for Military and Wilderness Professionals
In the Small Team Technical Rope Rescue course, you will learn how to successfully ascend and descend from a high angle obstruction. You will also learn how to rescue yourself or teammates with minimal equipment in a safe manner utilizing the twin tension system.
For the rock and ice climbing courses, you will learn what equipment is required, how to tie basic knots, commands, climbing techniques and how to belay and rappel. In addition, you will learn about weather, terrain, and the inherent dangers of these sports.
