Hello Peak Friends and Family,
We are excited to help spread the word about an upcoming fundraiser for one of our favorite charitable organizations. Upper Canyon Outreach is an equine assisted therapy program, primarily focused on healing Veterans and active military, based out of the Upper Canyon Outfitters ranch in Montana’s Ruby Valley. Many of you may have participated in our Horse Packing Operations or other courses hosted out of the ranch. Those that have would agree that it is one special place, and it is a huge part of the healing process for those participating in the programs.
Cassie Ubaldo is the founder and president of Upper Canyon Outreach and Brian Smith as well as The Peak’s Mark Gollinger are on her Board of Directors. If you have participated in our Horse Packing Courses, then it is very likely that Cassie and Brian trained you. Both recognized a long time ago that horses are special animals that can heal the soul. Another cool thing for me is that two of my great friends, teammates, and fellow Air Force Pararescueman are a huge part of the event. You will enjoy hearing Scott’s story and Donovan’s music is awesome.
The fundraiser Riding for Resilience – A Benefit for Upper Canyon Outreach will be held on Wednesday, May 8th from 5;30 pm -10:00 pm MDT. It will be held at a very cool venue, 1864 Noir Bar & Restaurant, in Bozeman Montana.
Join us for an unforgettable evening in support of Upper Canyon Outreach’s equine facilitated wellness courses, dedicated to aiding active-duty military personnel and Veterans in navigating psychological and emotional challenges, fostering new wellness skills crucial for enhancing daily life, mental well-being, and fostering authentic connections.
Mark your calendars for May 8th at 5:30 pm at est. 1864, nestled in the heart of historic downtown Bozeman, MT. Your ticket grants access to an evening of indulgence, including two hours of est. 1864’s specialty drinks and wine, a delectable plated meal, and an inspiring keynote presentation by the esteemed past participant of Upper Canyon Outreach, Scott Gearen. Following Scott’s empowering address, revel in the soulful melodies of Donovan Chapman, another distinguished past participant.
Throughout the event, mingle with other past participants who will generously share their poignant stories and experiences with Upper Canyon Outreach. This promises to be an evening brimming with inspiration and pride as we come together to champion this impactful and authentic program. Your support will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who have served our country.
The cost of the event ticket is $200 a plate. Thank you for your support.
