Wilderness Safety Training

Do you have the skills needed to spend a night in the field? Can you make a fire, build a shelter or provide first aid for yourself or friend. What about a field repair of your ATV or snowmobile? Could you rescue a friend if they were buried in an avalanche? Ask yourself; do I have the essential skills to survive in the outdoors?

Whether you are a business owner concerned with your employee’s safety, a wilderness professional that wants to improve your skills, or an outdoor enthusiast looking out for your family and friends, The Peak Inc. can help you meet your goals by providing you with knowledge and abilities to be prepared for the worst.

The Peak is extremely flexible and all of our training can be tailored to meet your requirements. Our courses meet all of your OSHA requirements for wilderness safety and often exceed the guidelines of the American Red Cross, Emergency Care Safety Institute, and the Wilderness Medical Society. Our cadre of instructors, all recognized experts in their respective fields, will provide you with the knowledge to operate in any environments and when it really matters. Whether it is a mountain peak, a raging river, or a recently ravaged disaster area, our fully customized training programs will prepare you for the worst.

The Peak’s headquarters in Southwest Montana is centrally located near a variety of training areas. We have swift water rescue, snowmobile, ATV, climbing, high-angle shooting, and pack-horse training areas within an hour’s drive from The Peak’s Hangar. We will also provide training and logistic support services at the location of your choice.
